~ How to make a Jellyfish Sun-catcher ~

Written By: Caitlyn Makely

Materials:

· Tissue Paper

· Black Construction Paper

· Scissors

· 2 Pieces of Contact Paper

· Ribbon

· Tape

Step 1: Take your tissue paper and cut it into squares. Then draw the outline of your jellyfish on the black construction paper. Cut out the outline, and then cut out the middle of the outline so it looks like this picture.

Step 2: Cut out a piece of contact paper larger than your jellyfish. Remove the protective sheet and place the contact paper on the table with the sticky side up.

Step 3: Place the black jellyfish outline on the sticky side of the contact paper. Then, place the tissue paper squares all within the jellyfish outline. It’s okay if they hang over the edge of the outline, you can cut them later.

Step 4: Take another piece of contact paper and put it on top of your jellyfish to seal it. Cut the excess off around the outline.

Step 5: Cut some decorative ribbon to tape to the bottom of your jellyfish as the tentacles.

Step 6: Hang in a window and watch the sun come through!
